NSG Reviews was created to help Nintendo Switch players cut through the noise. The eShop is packed with games but lacks essential features like user ratings and reviews, making it difficult to know what’s worth your time. That’s where NSG Reviews comes in.
We’ve built a space where players can rate and review their Switch libraries, explore honest community feedback, and discover new favorites with confidence.

FAQs
How can I rate and review games?
- Create an account from the registration page and log in.
- Use the Search page to find the game you want to review.
- Click on the game to open its menu, then select Rate & Review.
- Fill out the review form — give it a rating and write your thoughts.
- Hit Save when you’re done.
- Once you review a game, it’s added to your Library and won’t show up in search results anymore.
How can I add games to my Wishlist?
- Click the heart icon (favorite button) on any game.
- You’ll see a success message once it’s been added.
Can I create a Wishlist without an account?
No, you’ll need to create an account and log in before you can start building your Wishlist.
I’m looking for a specific game but can’t find it. Where is it?
- We currently list all games from the North American eShop. If it’s exclusive to another region, it may not appear.
- Games you’ve added to your Library or Wishlist won’t show up in search.
- Double-check your settings — it’s possible you’ve disabled that game’s genre.
I found a game but no one’s reviewed it yet. Can I request a review?
We pull reviews from our community, YouTube creators, and Steam when available.
The ability to request reviews from other users is something we plan to add in the future.
Can I buy games directly from this site?
- Click the Buy Digital button on a game’s page to be taken directly to that game on the Nintendo online store.
- You’ll need a Nintendo account and may have to re-enter your password before checking out.
- Note: This only works with the North America eShop for now.
How does the points & level system work?
The points & level system is based on actions and overall engagement on the site. Adding games to your library, rating games, writing reviews, liking/disliking reviews, and commenting all award different amounts of points. Level 20 is the higest level that can be achieved.

The following notifications are sent via email...
- GAME ON SALE: Sent when a wishlist game goes on sale.
- SALE ENDING SOON: Sent before a sale ends.
- AVAILABLE NOW: Sent when a wishlist game is released.
These notifications can be disabled from the settings page in your profile.

- Reply on Reviews: You can now reply to any review on the site.
September 4th, 2020 Update
Another milestone update has been made to the site and we are very excited about it. I've added a ranking system to the site that grants users NSG Pts. for performing actions on the site like rating and reviewing games, commenting on others' reviews, or getting likes on your reviews. Racking-up points will gain users levels which unlock cool aesthetic items and a place on the leaderboard!
- Profile Trims: Level-up to get cool profile picture trims. Each level gets a unique trim up to level 20. (Art by @KimerexProjekt)
- Top Reviewers: The new Top Reviewers list shows ALL users who have added games on their games library. Rate and review games to rack-up points and make it to the top of the leaderboard!
August 16th, 2020 Update
I've been working hard to make NSG Reviews the best community of Nintendo Switch gamers. I'm proud to introduce new features to help you interact with each other and personalize your experience.
- Review replies: Reply to game reviews to interact with other users.
- Notifications: On-site and email notifications are now enabled.
- Enhanced library page: Your public library page now shows a list of all your reviews.
- Enhanced profile page: Profile now uses tabs to separate settings, reviews, and games library.
- Themes: Choose from three site themes to customize your experience.
