Honestly, a very cute and enjoyable game. I really do think that there aren't many mlm games on the switch, so seeing this get ported over was a nice surprise. This game stands out as being well written from a team made up of LBGTQA+ members. I would love to see more mlm games on the switch with good writing and great characters like this.

For a city management builder (in the ways of banished not sim city) it's alright. Nothing too big or stressful about it. This was one of the 1st games I got when the switch game out and I still play it every now and then today. I did notice that it has a 3ds version that I also got and didn't really notice too much of a difference? It's a basic city/colony management builder with nothing too special about it and I had fun with it.

One of my favorite indie games ever. The writing and the character's personalities are amazing! They really do their best to make you care about everything you're doing and the characters you interact with. ***, the music, combat system, art style are all A+! Yup, one of my faves.

Lord. Nintendogs this is not. It's not... bad. Honestly, it's adorable and does the virtual pet thing pretty ok but it also feels like a clone. Like it's trying to be nintendogs since it's the only virtual pet game on the switch, but it doesn't feel like they tried. It's just overall ok. I do hate that it is a joy-con only game and because of that, the controls feel so weird! It's honestly the reason I returned mine because those controls were not fun. They wanted to get that stylus feel from nintendogs but they didn't try so it wasn't fun. And for 50 bucks you gotta be more than just cute.

For 7-8 bucks, this game is great. It has different endings (I've only gotten 3 so far) and found myself getting really into befriending everyone or just being a brat for a little too long. The controls are a little bit stiff and it makes it hard to quickly move out of traffic or not get stuck on a trash can. I know this came out on phones and I'm not sure what microtransactions that version has that's not in the switch game. It's cute and sad and I cried twice and Doggo is the bestest boy!

One of my favorite indie games! Personally, I do think Evoland 2 is more of a game than Evoland 1, seeing how the first game comes off as more of a test. If I remember right I think the 1st game was made in a game jam and that's why it felt "tiny". This game is so charming and the look of all the styles makes me nostalgic in a way. They both show the change in art style and technical upgrades throughout the game as well as the different genres as the story progresses and I am just glad that it finally on consoles now.

As much as I love animal crossing and as much as I am loving new horizons, there is still so much room for improvement. Yes, one island per-switch. Yes, no way to backup saves. Yes, seasonal events are issued through updates now. Yes these are problems but they are not the ONLY problems. This game is a life simulation-lite with survival elements which is weird for animal crossing... But not bad. There are definitely parts of this game that feels like they didn't finish some mechanics or didn't think about how to streamline others like bulk buying items/clothes with a cart, durability meter for tools, and cutting out unneeded menus and confirmations that aren't really needed (dodo airport). There's a lot of things from mechanics to content that's lacking in new horizons and lot of these things can be added or fixed with updates so I do hope to see that happen but knowing Nintendo...
