I personally really enjoyed this game. I can see how it would get repetitive for some, but it didn't for me. Really fun game.

Having not yet finished Katana Zero, I cannot givve a fair rating, but from what I have experienced so far, it is an excellent game. You play as an assasin dubbed "The Dragon" by the media and your enemies, who wields a katana which can slice clean through enemies all with one satisfying button press. The eight-directional attack angles, combined with the ability to slow time and deflect bullets makes this game a joy to play. The combat feels so smooth and fluid, unlike any other game I have ever played. Also, the synthwave soundtrack is brilliant, with your character turning on his walkman before every level, playing a different track every time. Overall, this little gem of a game is LOADS of fun to play through.

I can sat that this game is without a doubt a masterpiece. Hollow Knight is a metroidvania set in a dark, underground world called Hallownest, filled with various unique and interesting bugs that litter the fallen civilisation. The controls are tight and fluid, and the game performs amazingly on the switch, with hardly any noticable bugs or glitches. The world is also filled with lore, which I myself have dedicated many hours into studying, with a physical lorebook available for purchase through fangamer. The boss fights and enemy designs are incredible, each with unique mechanics, with hardly any reskins. With stunning hand-drawn visuals and a beautiful soundtrack, Hollow Knight is one of the greatest indie games of all time. It is definitely worth the price and I would recommend this to anyone, regardless of if they have played any other games of the genre.
