It takes the wonder-like exploration of BotW and mixes it with a simple yet engaging hack-and-slash combat. The world itself, based on greek mythology, is beautiful and, unlike some other Ubisoft titles, does not feel empty. Another plus for me was the narration. The story itself is nothing groundbreaking but it's pretty funny, giving it the feeling of a parody more than anything else. My only issues are on the technical side: a couple of frame drops here and there, not the best visual quality... all stuff that one has to accept in order to play the game on switch.

What a fun and relaxing game! It has a lot of resource management elements a-la Animal Crossing, while keeping it an adventure about exploration. It's nothing revolutionary but it does its job. It has a couple of technical hiccups, especially when it comes to performance (framerate, some loading times), but nothing to ruin the experience.

Yeah, it does feel like a 3DS port. I also find it way too repetitive, even straight from the get go. The best part about this game is the relations it creates randomly and the humor surrounding the adventure. It wasn't enough for me to stick around tho.

You leave the comfort and protection of your home, to find your own way and become an adult. The land is inhabited by different tribes with good/bad relations between them. It's up to you to decide which ones to help or fight against. It takes inspiration from games like BotW, but it has its own identity and, even tho a bit rough, it's creative and it shows the care put into it. If you find it on sale, give it a chance.

Best Lovecraftian game of all time. You'll feel frustrated, hopeless and a whole lot stressed... but once you're able to defeat the darkness you will find relief and accomplishment in this beautiful, yet corrupted and twisted world, truly madness. Can't wait for the sequel

It's just a lazy port. It works, but there are aspects from the wii u version that they did not bother to translate well enough to the switch hardware. It feels like I'm playing a game on the wrong console. The game itself is fun and rather unique, but its experience is strongly linked to the controls of the wii u. If you're one of the few to have a wii u, go get it there, otherwise I'd say you should skip it.

I personally loved this game. It's inbetween a walking-sim and a puzzle game, so it might not be for everybody, but the journey itself across this weird and powerful world is, if you embrace it, incredible. I truly am unable to describe the feeling this game gave me after finishing it, I can only say that I loved it. It's a bet: it costs a lot for a 3 hour game and it's not for everyone, BUT, if it clicks, you will love it and it's going to stay with you for a while.

They nailed the humor with this one. Gameplay-wise it's fun at first, doing all the acrobatics in slow-mo is badass, but gets repetitive way too soon. "Boss fights" are hit or miss.

What a gem of a puzzle game. It can be played casually, proceeding from a unique stage to the other, but it can offer a good challenge as well, if you want to get all the collectables and extra objectives, without feeling frustrating. This game is really for everyone. It's perfect.

A great card game, set in a wonderfully sick and corrupted world. Each run feels different. The cards you'll use are always well explained, the characters you'll meet (and fight) are unique (also disgusting most of the time) and all the systems this game use are always clear and never feel overwhelming.

What a let down. First: the price is too high for what it offers. I really wished they went with some kind of campaign mode or even a simple premise, instead it just shows you a slideshow tutorial and then it throws you onto the menu. You decide which mission you want to do (they're just a handful) in whatever order you want: there is no progression and no explanation. Second: It really isn't that fun. I really tried to like it. I played it both solo and co-op, but it's not entertaining. I like the visual style and it does have some good ideas, but, as of now, it just doesn't work.

Moonlighter's gameplay is divided in two parts. The first one is combat, which is pretty generic and repetitive. While the second one is managing your shop, that I found to be surprisingly engaging and fun. It is also a joy to explore, with its beautiful pixel art. 7/10

The game can be fun and it has a very interesting story and world. Unfortunately, it is also buggy, with moments where I had to reload the previous checkpoint and replay part of it; and it misses sounds outside the fighting moments (like steps, ambient noises, machines etc...). I suggest you buy it only on sale if you're a fan of these kind of games ( it's similar to SteamWorld Heist, so a side-scrolling, turn-based, cover shooter).

Amazing boss and world design. The gameplay is your standard horizontally-scrolling shooter, with the twist being the lack of health. Instead, you have a timer. If you get hit, the timer loses seconds, if you destroy an enemy, it gains seconds. Run out of time and is Game Over. There are a couple of difficulty spikes and straight up unfair bits, but you should be able to get through it all after some retries. The story sucks and does a poor job telling you what is going on, but it really isn't that detrimental to the experience.

One of the best survival games of recent years. A road trip through a devastated continent, you never know what it's going to happen. It doesn't focus on the usual stuff like food, or temperature, or building a shelter. You are constantly on the run. You need fuel for your car, weapons to defend your party, medicines and avoid noises at all costs. Pro Tip: don't get greedy. Pro Tip #2: A functioning car is more important than a party member.

Sweet and short point-and-click adventure. There are different choices which lead to different endings. The writing is very good, though the story is a bit slow, especially at the beginning. It is not for everyone, there is no voice over, so you are going to read a lot of text. Actually the text IS the gameplay. Do not expect to be able to move the characters or overall test your skills. It is a interactive novel with some 3d models in the background. Personally, I enjoyed the story, it reminded me of Asimov's and Bradbury's work. If you are into that, chances are, you will end up enjoying this 3 hour-long experience.

The weakest of the SteamWorld games. My main issues are the repetitiveness and the art-style. The writing is just as good as the other SW games, but the story begins a bit too slowly for my likings. The card system felt a bit like an annoyance to deal with at first, but I ended up enjoying it. It makes for a different kind of turn-based combat experience that you don't really see in most RPGs.

A bit repetitive, but very charismatic. Dungeon crawler meets pinball. It actually works. The biggest problem are the controllers. This game requires precision, sometimes in short windows of time. The console controller is not precise. Definitely better to play with mouse and keyboard on PC. Still, on switch it works good enough, just prepare to die a lot more.

Once you figure the controls out, DXM becomes a frenetic dance of bullets, explosions and missiles. The campaign is about 15 hours (20 with secondary stuff), but I played through it in just four days, so much I was having fun. The highlight of the game, though, is customisation. You can mix and match different mech parts, there are plenty of weapons, you can create loadouts and visually change the appearence of your mech with camos, stickers etc... It's honestly a bunch of fun. Unfortunately, the story is boring and, at times, cringe-worthy, also, performance-wise, it is not well optimised, with long loadings and frequent frame drops. Still, if you are a fan of the genre, or simply looking for something a bit different from the usual, go for it.

Unfortunately it is not utilised too much, meaning that the points where you have to use the mechanic are not creative. *** Eater 3 offers a nice alternative to Monster Hunter, with a quick and fast-paced action, with missions that will take less than 10 min. to complete. Mulaka is rough around the edges, but once you get over it, you will discover a very enjoyable experience with a lot of heart in it. The game works a bit like a Zelda, where each new zone you unlock serves as a "dungeon", with puzzles to solve, items to collect, power-ups to unlock (these represented by spirit animals) and enemies to fight. The bosses alone are worth your money and time: they are all different, not only in design, but how you approach them as well. Definitely the highlight of the game.

PS: I never encountered any gamebreaking bug. Technically the only annoyance is the first loading screen once you start the game, which takes a lot of time.

Beautiful metroidvania with character and atmosphere. Combat is done through touch-screen, literally slashing the different monsters you encounter on your journey. You learn their patterns, weak spots and attacks , and it's always clear when and how a creature will attack you. Visually, Severed is stunning yet gross: these creatures are ugly, the land itself is ugly, even the few allies you encounter are ugly. At the end of a fight, you can sever body parts from these abominations to use for upgrades. The game is fair when it comes to giving these ressources to the player: they are scarce enough for you to think carefully about what to upgrade, yet it is generous enough so you don't get frustrated searching for them. the only issue I have is backtracking. If you want to explore a specific area, you'll have to walk there from where you are, no fast travel, no teleportation. Sometimes you might be forced to solve a puzzle, that you already did, multiple times in order to access that area. Also the game is short. It took me 7 hours to 100% it. This last point is not a negative, at least for me. Still I think it is important to mention it.

Sucks visually, but it's one **** of a game. Easily 100 hours (more if you play the DLCs too). My biggest issue is that controlling your character can feel clunky and not responsive enough, but it does not ruin the overall experience.

A Turn-based strategy experience at its best!

It's a lesser version of youtube. It works, but you're better of watching videos on your phone at this point.

Nice puzzle game with a beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. It's short (I 100% it in less than 10 hours), but worth your money.

It's boring and it knows it is: It even has a button to play itself!

NES games just do not hold up nowadays. They're clunky, frustrating and repetitive. I understand the nostalgia and the curiosity one might have in revisiting older games, but let's be real, most aren't fun.

Not for me, but I can see why so many people love this game.

First of all, this game is beautiful to look at, the sounds are crisp and the music is amazing. What keeps this game from achieving a perfect score is the very grindy levelling up. You will have to stop to level up for, at times, hours, just to be at a good enough level to continue one of the tales. It abrupts the rhythm and, needless to say, it's not fun. But when you are travelling to new locations, exploring dungeons or continuing one of the main campaigns, it's great. Everything just falls into place to create one of the most enjoyable RPG experiences of recent times.

This is a celebration of all the Monster Hunter games up until MH4. If you did not like those, you won't like this one. But, if you DID enjoy them, then you'll find yourself right at home.

Bad controls and camera angles almost ruin this game. You are going to rage at it.

This is not a DLC, this is a completely new game they're selling for half the price that they should. If you wish to get into JRPGs, I'd say you start from here.

Golden Deer route: 4/5 (not enough blue emo boy) pacing did feel off compared to blue lions too. (You can probably guess which house I picked).

Best-looking game on Switch. The story is a bit cringe, but the world and the gameplay are superb in every aspect.

The game is good. It's just nintendo that still struggle to understand how online games should work.

The "Super Smash Bros." series has always been fun. "Ultimate" is no exception, earning its name by throwing together (almost) all the content of the previous titles. Perfect for local multiplayer with friends, It's just a shame they have yet to figure out the online. But, if you're willing to close an eye on it, you'll find out that "Ultimate" is not just a fighting game, rather a celebration of gaming as a whole.

"Breath of the wild" marks the beginning of a new era for the franchise. Easy for everyone to pick up and enjoy, but, at the same time, complex enough for those willing to dig deeper into its mechanics. What differentiates this new Zelda from other Open World experiences, is the freedom given to the player: there is never just one way to solve a puzzle, fight a monster or reach a new location. The sense of discovery will drive you through its amazing world for hours and hours up until the end and after. Possibly the best "The Legend of Zelda" title, period.
