A faithful recreation of the GBA classic, I particularly enjoyed the new painterly art style. A few new features here and there, but all in all a wonderful way to play this game. I've never touched another PMD other than the original this game is a remake of, so not sure if they've improved upon the formula or not.

More of a 1 and done kinda game for me though, the post game is just "catching them all." The story is engaging, simple, and this version did seem a bit easier to me than the original, then again I'm not 11 anymore (hopefully)

If you loved the original, grab it up and don't look back.
