I adore this game. I’ve played it both on PC and Switch and honestly the load times aren’t that much better on PC, so the long load times are a game thing, not a Switch thing. The load times don’t bother me as much as they bother other people though because the rest of the game is just so incredible that I think it’s worth waiting for, and personally I don’t find the loading times THAT long anyway, especially for a Switch game (the shorter time feels longer on PC because it’s a PC and feels like it should be way faster).

Anyway, if you enjoy the anime you’ll probably love the game. I’m not even generally a huge fighter game fan and maybe that’s why I like this one, because the controls aren’t complicated like MK11 is, but it’s still satisfying and fun and awesome to watch.

All in all I think this game is underrated. Its a hidden gem and I can’t wait to get the second game.
