Again, this game (Which I think is the first of the series of three games) makes me smile. It's not a JRPG in the same style as the second game and its deluxe release but a cute escape the maze in 3D style / pacman avoidence. You collect keys from the mice to open doors and have to collect enough treats to pass the level. The level design is nice and presented in a colorful and enticing way. Its a nice game to pick up and play. It's a little short and gameplay could be fleshed out more but as a precursor to amazin George 2 and for it's price point is worth the money. I would recommend highly the second game over this one though, and can play it standalone.

So as an owner of amazin George 2, I was delighted to see a remaster? Or upscale? Not entirely sure but was impressed with the introduction of a new George model with more realistic and cute detail and presentation. It's essentially the same game as amazin George 2 which I found lovely and a nice change from the seriousness of JRPGs and told in a poetic way.

Since it's pretty much the same price of amazin' George 2, I would recommend this version over the former for the improved presentation alone.

A JRPG in the style of Final Fantasy in lovely cute 3D graphics, with a difference, the main character is an adorable cat called George. The field map kind of works like a modern pacman, avoiding or fighting monsters while collecting Treats, the game currency. It takes place in the world of Felina.

It's got about ten hours of solid gameplay with turn based JRPG style battles that are quite engaging. Another nice feature is the ability to run from any battle to help reduce tiredness getting through the world. Boss fights are challenging and the dungeons and puzzles are well designed.

If this becomes a long series I can see it doing well.
